Volunteer Teacher Needed for 2010 & 2011 in Solukhumbu Nepal

Job description:  
Teaching Basic and Medium Level English Conversation, Writing, Grammar, Etc for Middle School and High school students in remote Nepal whose first language is their mother tongue, Sherpa, Tamahng, etc and their official language is Nepali.

Location:   Lower Everest Region, Solukhumbu, Nepal (1 day walk from Phaplu Airport or 3 days trek from Bhandar (Everest Trail)

Suitable Months:   Anytime between March to August 2010 & 2011
Number of Volunteer Needed:    Maximum Two

Facilities Provided: 
1) Home Stay (separate room) with local family of Sherpa, Magar or Tamang, people.
2) All meals prepared in home kitchen, hygienic local food. 
3) Transport and support trek to reach the place and back once the teaching period is completed.

Maximum Period of Teaching:   Two months

Working Hours:    Every day maximum of 3 hours teaching two sessions. 

Course Model:   We prefer to volunteer him/herself to design a course model or we can discuss on that.
